The Foundation (Pre-2016) The story of Doing Metal didn’t actually begin in 2016—it began years earlier on the dusty floors of precision fabrication workshops. Our founder, Mr.Zhuang, spent years mastering the intricate language of sheet metal. From understanding how different alloys react to intense laser heat to perfecting the complex geometry of a multi-stage bend, those early years were a masterclass in craftsmanship.

The Milestone (2016) In 2016, after nearly a decade of accumulating deep technical expertise and understanding the rigorous standards of global clients like Hog Slat, it was time to build something better. Fulei Metal was born (now evolved into our global brand, Doing Metal). We didn’t start as a massive corporation; we started as a specialized workshop in Ningbo with a simple mission: To provide international markets with the precision of a master craftsman combined with the efficiency of modern technology.

The Evolution (Today) Since 2016, we have grown from a local factory into a trusted global partner. We’ve invested in world-class equipment like TRUMPF laser cutters and expanded our capabilities to include complex assembly and sophisticated surface treatments.
